Midjourney 是最近很火的一个能根据自然语言生成图片的 AI，详细介绍网上很多，大家可以自行搜索。我稍微试用后觉得颇为有趣，直接买了每月30刀无限使用的 plan，鼓捣了些图片出来。建筑毕竟是本行，所以其中很多都是建筑相关的图片，有不少是对现有大师的戏仿。
我估摸着 Midjourney 目前的机器学习来源应该是以大量艺术和摄影图库为主，和 Standard Diffusion 或者 Dalle 2 等其余几个 AI 相比，能明显感觉 Midjourney 创作出来的东西哪怕有的时候细节说不通，但至少构图、色调、光影都会非常漂亮，粗看很舒服。有的时候运气好，还真的能生成一些对现实设计有指导和参考意义的东西。

用下来后对我的震撼还是很大的，倒不是说我觉得 Midjourney 立刻能取代建筑师的工作，工具是不会取代创造者的，聪明的创造者只会使用工具而让自己变得更强大。这里的震撼在于：我已经无法分辨这样的机器学习和实际的人类智慧有什么本质上的区别。
尽管现在这些 AI 制图出来的结果经不起细看，充满了似是而非不明所以的细节，但那是因为AI学习的图库来源仅仅是二维的图片，它暂时还无法完全理解图片的色彩线条背后所代表的物理世界，所以它生成的东西本质上只是一堆颜色而已。但是等未来科技发展，越来越多的现实数据加入到算法中，比如各种材料的物理属性、物理定律等等，那时候的 AI 能生成的东西，恐怕就和人类的直接创造无异了。
